Initially ordered as a pilot in June 2022, tThe show is the brainchild of Brian Jordan Alvarez, who also takes on a leading role. The storyline revolves around a high school teacher in Austin navigating the challenges posed by students and parents alike in a world where the rules are in constant flux.
Brian Jordan Alvarez leads a talented ensemble cast that includes Stephanie Koenig, Enrico Colantoni, and Sean Patton. Alvarez, in addition to his on-screen role, serves as an executive producer, joining forces with Paul Simms, renowned for his work on FX’s “What We Do in the Shadows” and “Atlanta.” The executive production team further includes Jonathan Krisel (“Baskets,” “Portlandia”) and Dave King (“Parks and Recreation,” “The Good Place”).
